ASTEX’s Principal Services to Clients
Our Services are optional and can be contracted independently
Choosing a school and the application
- We personally interview the candidate and meet with the parents in order to provide the school with as much information as possible on the student and his or her family (academic level, language level, family environment, etc.)
- We manage the student’s application and subsequent admission processes by translating all documentation and taking care of any additional requirements (exams, interview, language tests etc.).
- We provide parents with all the relevant information received from schools and assist with the completion and submission of all necessary documentation required by the school during the admissions process.
Monitoring Services and Guardianship
- We are very aware of the support that both the parents and student require whilst the child is abroad. We remain in direct contact with the parents and students and also assist the schools with their pastoral care by acting as an intermediary between the schools and the parents.
- We stay up to date on each school’s holiday periods and keep parents informed of the various options. We also oversee the permissions that students may need to leave the school and any tickets or transportation they may require during their stay abroad.
- We provide services in case of emergency on weekends during the school year.
Validation
- We make sure that the right subjects are chosen so that any problem with the transfer of academic credits can be avoided when the student reenters the Spanish educational system.
- We monitor academic progress and class achievement should any conversation with parents and students become necessary.
- As the school year ends, we take care of the administrative procedures required by the Spanish Ministry of Education to ensure the proper transfer of academic credits to the Spanish system.
PROGRAMMES AND COUNTRIES
Academic Year Programme
Academic year programs in private boarding schools and private and public day schools in the U.K., Ireland, United States, Canada, Switzerland, France and Germany.
Term
Stays of 3 to 4 months in private boarding schools in the UK, Germany, Switzerland and France.
Beginning / End of Term
Stays over the first or last weeks of the school year. The students integrate (themselves) into the daily life of the boarding school, which enables them to make the most of their stay, depending on the language level and the adjustment ability of each student.

- Languages in Spain: we offer the option of taking part in the best linguistic immersion programs in Spain. We also offer private classes in our offices or at home.
- University counselling: for those who wish to study their degree abroad.
